I’m a senior and I’ve eaten a lot of Hush Puppies in my life, this mix makes the best. I use some finely chopped onion and buttermilk in the mix. I was born and raised in NC, relocated to Texas later in life (40) and trust me I know a good Hush Puppy! My husband and I make a batch and then freeze them so we can heat a few in the oven when we have fish. I am so thankful I can buy this mix and my grits from Palmetto Farms and get it shipped right to my door.
