I'm from North Carolina and I've missed not being able to buy your products. I have Celiac disease. In Texas they sell one brand of Grits in stores and they are NOT safe for me to eat since they make them in a facility that also processes wheat. I had given up on cornbread, grits, and hush puppies until I thought to do a search to see if I could order online.
Well, I recently placed an order from you since you are a wheat free facility. We ordered the hush puppy mix which I'd never tried, cornbread mix, rice and grits. Today we fried some fish, made some slaw, fries and hush puppies. They were THE BEST HUSHPUPPIES I'VE EVER HAD IN MY 57 YEARS ON THIS EARTH! We added some finely chopped onions to the batter and YUMMMMMMMMMM.
They were VERY light and just so wonderful!

It turned out really good! I had a seven pound hen and used 3 cups of your brown rice. I adjusted cook time for the brown rice. I recommend you try the brown, it really turned out good. It fed five adults two servings. I can't wait to try it again. Thanks for the recipe. -Robbie
